Summary

Applied Optoelectronics, Inc. (AOI) is seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Box Truck Driver to support daily transportation and logistics operations between company facilities in the Houston area.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate company box trucks to transport materials, equipment, and supplies between facilities.
• Load, unload, and secure cargo to ensure safe transportation.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues.
• Assist with warehouse, shipping, and receiving activities as needed.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to load, unload, move, and store materials safely and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and logs.
• Follow all company safety policies and traffic regulations.

Qualifications

• Valid Texas driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience operating box trucks required; experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment in a warehouse or distribution environment is preferred.
• Forklift certification and prior forklift operating experience are required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform loading/unloading tasks.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.

Schedule

• Full-time, Monday – Friday

License Requirement

• No CDL required (for company vehicles under 26,000 lbs GVWR).
