Summary
The Gas & Chemical Engineer is responsible for the unified management of facility-wide bulk electronic gas, specialty gas, chemical, acid, and alkali delivery systems. This role oversees hazardous material infrastructure design, system reliability, operational safety, explosion-proof compliance, and technical standards development to ensure safe and stable production support.
Job Duties
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Environmental Engineering.
Minimum 2 years’ experience in industrial bulk/specialty gas, chemical distribution, semiconductor cleanroom hazardous material management.
Familiar with EHS hazardous material regulations, emergency response flows and risk assessment methodologies.
Practical experience of on-site operation for toxic, flammable, corrosive gas and chemical systems in cleanroom.
In-depth understanding of specialty gas piping, chemical delivery skids and hazardous substance regulatory compliance.
Formal working experience in semiconductor wafer fab gas & chemical station.
Rich experience cooperating with EHS department on safety audit, hazard identification and incident rectification.
Basic knowledge of gas monitoring PLC, automatic interlock and hazardous medium real-time monitoring systems.
