Summary
We are looking for an Inspection Engineer responsible for the defect analysis and in-time feedback to the corresponding team. Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to production line defect data analysis, root cause analysis, feedback to corresponding process team, proposal of improvement, and implementation.
Job Duties
Cosmetic defect root cause analysis
Perform failure root cause analysis
New failure mode detection
Reporting:
Document key findings and present them across all business levels and functions.
Perform other work-related tasks as required and assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Material Engineering, Material Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related discipline from an accredited institution plus a minimum 1-year working experience in the manufacturing industry is required
Experience with defect analysis, micromanufacturing, or equipment automation is a plus
Microsoft Access, SQL, and other programming skills preferred
Robust data analysis and problem-solving capability
Detail-oriented and self-motivated
Ability to work independently and as a team
Ability to follow all cleanroom protocols
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for successful inter and intra-group interactions
Location
This position will be on-site based in Sugar Land, Texas.
