Summary

We are seeking a Labview Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, programming, simulating, and testing automated machinery and processes in order to complete exact tasks.

Job Duties

• Under general supervision, assists in designing, coding, testing, troubleshooting, and documenting automated inspection, measurement, and test systems for optical electronics
• Compose SOP and provide training session for technician and operator on operating the Labview excitable UI
• Modify labview programs which composed by engineer from other branches to fit the operations equipment and environments
• Work with Manufacture Engineer to solve production line issues
• 10% international travel is expected for this position
• Other duties as needed or required

Job Requirements

• Required:
  • Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline
• Preferred:
  • Master's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering
• 1 – 3 year of experience in LabVIEW Programming
• Understanding of the operation of data acquisition fundamentals (i.e., plug-in data acquisition cards, RS 232, GPIB, PXI devices and signal conditioning of various sensors)
• Strong teamwork and communication skills to manage multiple/concurrent projects
• Works independently and responsibly without close supervision. Must be able to take full responsibility
• Lift or move items weighing up to 35 pounds
• Preferred Bilingual in Chinese Mandarin.

Location

This position will be on-site based in Sugar Land, Texas.
